Travel

France (543,965 sq/km or 209,970 sq/mi) is at least twice the size of England and a little bit smaller than Texas. Do keep this in mind when you make travel plans!!

Flying: Both Bordeaux (125 km/80 miles) and Toulouse (200km/125 miles) have flights with major airlines and are a 2 - 2 ½ hour drive. Paris Charles de Gaulle & Orly airports have connections to Bordeaux and Toulouse.

Our nearest airport in Bergerac (27km/17 miles) is about a 25-minute drive.
From the UK, Ryanair and Flybe fly to Bergerac. Check your departure city.
There are no flights between Paris and Bergerac for the moment.

Train: High-speed TGV trains leave Paris from Charles de Gaulle airport or Gare Montparnasse at regular intervals. The ride to Libourne or Bordeaux is 3 or 3 ½ hours, respectively.

Driving: Paris (600 km/375 miles) is a 6-hour drive.
For those crossing the English Channel, Brittany Ferries Caen - Portsmouth provides the shortest driving route, about 7 hours. Most other routes take between 9 - 11 hours.

Car Hire: Hertz, Avis, Europcar and Sixt offer car hire at the major airports.
